Testimonies of listeners at Natland Concert Spring 2023

"I am currently on holiday, staying near Grange over Sands, and took the opportunity to book tickets for the concert at Natland last night. I attended along with my sister and brother-in-law. We were blown away! The evening was the most meaningful act of worship I have attanded in a long time. It was wonderful to experience, and to see members of the choir so clearly meaning what they were singing. Thank you so much. God bless you all."

"Dear Friends,

I was at your recent concert in St. Mark's church, Natland.  I wanted to thank you for a wonderful experience.  You shared with us your joy in the Lord through words, music, the expression on your faces and your whole body language. I went home feeling thoroughly uplifted and rejoicing in our Saviour.  Thank you.

You sang from the heart and as you sang I jotted down some of the words from the songs which particularly touched my heart, so that I could reflect on them again.

I wondered if you had ever produced a CD and if there are any available to purchase.

I give thanks to God for your delightful ministry.  Peace be with you  God bless

From Jackie"

Testimony from Grinton on Swaledale

Thank you so much for giving us a superb concert last Saturday evening. It was a special event which will be one we remember for a very long time to come.  The added bonus of being able to tie the concert onto such a worthy cause, (and one I know to be close to your own hearts) made it an extra special occasion indeed.

I found the testimonials and the 'singing from the heart' quite moving and emotional. - It certainly hit the spot and made the concert a real uplifting  experience.  I wish you all every success in the future and hope to have you back in the not too distant future.  God bless you all.

We have joined with Rinteln in Germany too!

As quite a few of our members are from the Kendal area and Rinteln Germany is twinned with Kendal, we were given the opportunity to sing with them and visits both ways have been enjoyed ...

The Mission is home to The Lakes Christian Centre.  A non-denominational Christian Church which started in the Langdale Valley in 1924

The Lakes Gospel Choir formed twenty years ago..

Through the vision of iis former music direcor Robin Perris, the choir was born out of the Lakes Christian Centre, who will in 2024 be celebrating it's 100th Birthday.

The Choir has always had strong links to the Lakes Christian Centre, and meets in the building that is it's home.  We do however have Choir members from many different churches & from many different areas, though you don't need to be part of a church to be in our Choir.
