On Saturday March 12th 2011 The Choir were invited over to put on a concert at New Life Baptist Church in Northallerton. They made us hugely welcome and we enjoyed a fantastic evening of music, praise and testimony, with around 300 people in the audience. A great evening was enjoyed by all, and here are a few responses from the people of Northallerton.
I just wanted to write to thank you and the entire choir for the wonderful concert on Saturday evening. It went extremely well, and it was great to see so many people in! At a very rough estimate, I should guess there were not far off 300 people there, and I would reckon about 2/3 were not church members, which is excellent! The testimonies were powerful and the music wonderful – please do pass on our thanks to the choir. I do hope you weren’t too horribly late to bed that night, and that you all felt it was worth the effort of coming over here.
Sorry I didn’t get to thank you personally on Saturday evening – I know you were all rushing for the bus. I would like to add my thanks to you, and all the choir, for a very successful evening. Eternity may tell the full impact the testimonies and lyrics will have had on lives, but I know there were many comments from those who thoroughly enjoyed the event. Thank you for making the effort to travel over the Pennines especially just for us. God richly bless you.
The response from the evening has been VERY positive – many people saying they had not heard anything like this in the UK before. I felt you handled the evening very sensitively and the whole program really uplifted the Lord. Thank you again, and please pass on our appreciation to the whole choir. All we seek to be, is another helpful step along the road!
