U13 Children's Choir
We offer young people between seven and thirteen a friendly introduction to singing in a choir, something different and inspiring.
The U13 Children's Choir, for young people aged 7-13 (14-16 for the U13 senior section) experienced their very first concert on a sunny afternoon in June 2009. The children performed two gospel songs with the adult choir on the Glebe at Bowness-on-Windermere, overlooking the beautiful southern end of the Lake.
U13 also joined the adult choir at two festive concerts - the 'Christmas Light Switch On' in Windermere and a very special Christmas concert in Clitheroe. They have since performed at a joint concert in Bowness where three choirs sung together on one night. It was an excellent evening where the Lakes Gospel Choir and U13 were joined by the world-renowned Tonna Male Voice Choir from Wales.

Before they are permitted to work with our children's choir, all our leaders undergo a CRB (Criminal Record Bureau) check.
